This is an mp3 of them playing Headache.
This version kinda reminds me of the Black Sessions version.

Cool. Thanks. You live in Burlington? Have you ever heard of the Jazzguys?

Close to Burlington. Montpelier. But, everything is close in Vt.
I've heard of the Jazzguys. Never seen 'em. I've been getting out of the indie rock scene.
You know the fellas? One of 'em draws a terrible cartoon for our weekly art rag. (Oh, and James Harvey isn't one of the Jazzguys. He's just a jazz guy. That's his job.)

Oh man; that's great. It sounds like Phish doing Frank Black. Very weird.

I actually do live in Burlington, and have heard good things about the jazz guys. Have not had the chance to see them yet. Too busy seeing Gordon Stone Band over and over and over.... Lots great jazz shows around, i tend to stay away from the indie rock scene as well though...

The last show I went to was either the fake Jayhawks reunion, or Femi Kuti, but technically those were South Burlington. For regular unleaded burlington, it must be a Bootless & Unhorsed gig at Rasputins. That was a couple years ago. Oh, no wait, Jonathan Richman at Metronome. That was good. ramble ramble.
Gordon Stone looks less creepy than he did in the 90s. It's good.
I wish I could make the Pants reunion. That's gonna feckin' tear A$$.

could someone make this link re-active? I have to hear this thing! I've been dragged to some phish shows and wound up having a great, drug-enhanced good time (the music made sense on mushrooms). I must hear this!!!!

thanks to whoever can re-load it.

Never had an interest in Phish. Not even while I was stoned. Except that delicious Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

the trick is lots of mushrooms -- then you love almost everything, and you can relate to the techology of wanky guitar solos vis a vis the way they operate on your brain regardless of asethetic proclivities.

Lots of mushrooms, and see them live at close range - that was the only way I was able to understand their whitebread language.

They earn points in my book for considering Come On Pilgrim (rather than say Doolittle) and then give those points right back with Hotel California.
