Some food you might believe it's strange or disgusting eating it:
Boudin noir: made of pig's blood mixed with fat, a filler like bread crumbs, and other flavorings that vary from region to region.
Andouillette: "This tripe sausage is a small version of French andouille sausage. Definitely not a party pleaser, but some people have grown accustomed to its taste." foodsubs.com
Pork's feet: fried, with bones and skin. Pork ears are good too.
Veal head: that's good too. do not view this site if vegan or too much sensible, that's how you prepare "la tête de veau":http://www.chefsimon.com/tete.htm |

You can't go wrong with......Haggis
hag·gis
A Scottish dish consisting of a mixture of the minced heart, lungs, and liver of a sheep or calf mixed with suet, onions, oatmeal, and seasonings and boiled in the stomach of the slaughtered animal.

And to further reinforce the Scots suicidal tendencies...
In addition, practically all Scottish fish and chips shops will sell their customers a haggis supper. This consists of a small single portion haggis dipped in batter and deep fried with chips; it provides a hot, filling, high-energy meal for a cold winter's day.

what's that coffee where the beans are eaten by African monkey's before being used to make a beverage? It's supposed to be great coffee. Or did I dream this?

If you've ever had hot dogs, or weiners, or sausages or whatever, you've eaten worse than what's been described here.

not really, I'm a wimp. The weirdest thing I tried were chapulines (grilled grasshoppers), but it's not that strange. Tastes great though. I never tried eyeball tacos or living mealworms, which are the weirdest things I've seen there.

I also got tricked into eating tongue. Honestly, its not that gross tasting, its the texture that's nasty.

Most food difficulties are texture rather than taste, I think. Can't think of anything I couldn't swallow because of taste, but texture... many examples.
Mushrooms, bananas, pig's ears, haggis, ...

Deep fried cheeseburger in Edinburgh is as crazy as I've gotten, I didn't think it was particularly nice even though I was very drunk. Though we did eat dulse(seaweed) as kids on holidays in the West before evrybody started putting it in their salads.

Cripes rumours, eating a fried cheeseburger when drunk is nuthin. I once caught my husband making a chip dip and sardine sandwich fried up in the sandwich maker after a night out.

Haha, you just reminded me that I once made a nacho and cheese sandwich in the sandwich maker, the nachos go all soft which isn't really that nice. I had some Kalamari in Crete but it just tasted like fishy rubber with batter on, but I've heard it's meant to be lovely when cooked properly.

It's a sad fact that most calamari served at seaside restaurants in Greece came from Albania.

There's nothing like a Vermont squid pie. But what a hell of a job.

Honestly, I doubt the squid are particularly concerned with national borders.
