Cheers fbc. Um, I'm not sure he will really. Much of the Celtic support don't think he should have played as much as he did this year. He's overweight and slow. The problem is we don't have another natural defensive midfielder.

If they do then it's all over.
Liverpool won't go through if Chelsea score at Anfield.

Can't see Liverpool winning this game at all. I predict a score draw, Chelsea go through.

Well, I guess if my predictions were always right I could make some serious cash! Unfortunately that's not the case.
I am genuinely chuffed for Liverpool though.

It was hard wanting Liverpool to win, but I guess I am happy now. They deserved it (what on earth was Jose on about? - such a bad loser).
Now I just hope we get there to beat them.

Boy, what a clunker. Both sides looked tired. You would think the final rounds would provide the best matches instead of showcasing dead legs. Hopefully today will be another ManU/ACM classic...

THE FOOTBALL, COME AND WATCH THE FOOTBALL. BRIGHTON VS. PORTSMOUTH TO SEE WHO WINS THAT! IT'S IMMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP TRACK OF ALL THE FOOTBALL, BUT YOUR BEST CHANCE IS HERE! FOOTBALL!

If by "classic" you mean "ass kicking", then you are correct. You had to know that all the ManU defensive injuries would catch up to them at some point.

Yeah we were well beaten in the end. Good look to Milan, they were the better team over the two legs, no doubt.
Obviously I hope they win in the final.

Tonight's the final game in Athens.
Milan surprised me during this CL-season. Impressive how they got their act together when it beagan to matter. Even began to play good ball... They should be able to win this. My bet: 2-0
My heart is with Liverpool though. |

I want Liverpool to win but I'm not that bothered really, just hoping it's a decent game. It's nice to watch football when your own team isn't involved.

I had a dream last night that it was 3-1 to Milan. I think Liverpool scored first.
But I hope that Liverpool win. I still can't figure out how Milan failed to score in two games against Celtic and only won the tie in ET.

Well, I fell asleep about 20 minutes into the final and woke up just after it had finished. From what my mate tells me it doesn't sound like I missed an awful lot.

No, it wasn't a very memorable match. I thought it was ok that Milan won it. They played great against Bayern and ManU. And managed to score twice in a final where Liverpool never looked like they could.
The only thing is that they shouldn't have participated in this CL-season and only did because of political protection. And to see the broad smiles on Galliani's and Berlusconi's faces during the ceremonies at the end was hard to bear.
And damn Kuyt for ruining my bet two minutes before the end! And for nothing.

I hate Berlusconi, but I was pleased that Milan won. Once again we went out to the Champions.

I'm sorry, but If my ass is on the line, I'm ridin' the horse I rode in on. Crouch should have started. Kewell as well, Zenden was a mistake. The first goal was a handball.

Kewell wasn't fit enough for a game of that magnitude, not that I would have started Zenden either. I also would have started Crouch though.

hmm, the rumour is that he's on his way out of Anfield as well. Don't think he's really had much of a chance.

To be honest I thought Real and Lyon both looked quite poor. Lyon need some serious shooting practice if they're serious about going through, based on this game anyway. To be fair they don't seem to have trouble scoring in Ligue 1 so I'll let them off, this once.
