Dear Jimmy, can you help? I have this friend who's really bossy and usually I just cave in but lately I've been sticking up for myself but I can't tell where all this will lead. Am I doing the right thing?

Well, here comes another guy who doesn't know the first thing about giving advice. Darwin, if you'd paid attention to everything in the first six pages of this thread, you'd realize that having an understanding of the topic you're addressing is absolutely unnecessary, and really just a hindrance to the process.
Oh, and as for the baseball, darwin, I only gave up on my boys because I have a weak heart. (Which is, again, unrelated to giving advice.) And besides, when the Yankees beat the Red Sox 19-8 or whatever it was in Game 3 in 2004, don't tell me you didn't feel it was over.

I used to like talking about politics,ect, once in a while, coast, but now I just feel uncomfortable. I don't want to convince anyone of anything.
But anyway, the FCC is real government censorship, and it always seems weird to me that nobody ever complains about it ( though, I guess Howard Stern used to ).
The fines, all the punishments that stations could get for broadcasting certain things- I just can't believe that the FCC is still around.

I remember when meth wasn't this crazy drug that fucked you up, when it was this useful drug that helped you do homework. Jimmy, why do rednecks speedfreaks always end up ruining everything for us good people?
My other question, Jimmy, has to do with feelings I have for some of my fellow forum members. I speak of those fortunate enough to be seeing the Bluefinger tour. I have tried to work though my feelings of jealousy and outright envy but all I can come up with is blame. I blame Frank. If Frank hadn't forgotten, oh, a huge chunk of North America, then I wouldn't feel such jealousy in my heart toward forumites I've long considered friends. What do you suggest, Jimmy?

I think from now on I'm only gonna answer sex questions.
I miss Dr. Ruth, she was pretty cool on Donahue and my paper used to run her advice column. I get the feeling that when people asked her advice she always answered honestly, without any regard to what the newspapers might say or what other readers might say.

By the way, I think this came up somewhere else, but how do you get that line over the "a" in Sean? Do you have a special keyboard?
Also, just some friendly advice: You should stop using that line over the "a" in Sean- it tells people, right off the bat, that you aren't American. That's not something you want to advertise. ( You should tell people that you're an American citizen, and that you picked up the accent while attending a private school in Ireland as a child. )
