Amen.

However, the first Rocky film is pretty decent, in a Sly-can-act-shocker kind of a way. And I saw It's A Wonderful Life for the first time at Christmas. That's ace.

Up until recently I used to get berated for not having seen Withnail & I, which I've since rectified, but I got near shouted at for not having seen Team America World Police.

Think I've seen all of Jose Jones' list, but I'm fairly sure I've never sat through an entire Godfather film.

My wife and I have always meant to rent New Jack City (since whenever it was released) but never got round to it.
We have actually rented Gangs of New York twice and not watched it. It was on the TV the other night and we missed it. There are just some films some people are never meant to watch.

I wish I could say Titanic but regretfully I have witnessed this stinker.

An excerpt from Robert Altman's interview with The Onion:

The Onion: "So you don't think that Titanic deserved the awards it received?"
Altman: "No."
The Onion: "Why not?"
Altman: "Because it's a shitty picture."

Gotta love him, even if he did make Popeye.

Llamadance, the universe is throwing you some helpful guidance vis a vis you missing Gangs Of New York, I only went to it cause my Spanish wasnīt good enough at the time to see other films. My mother left it to stroll around town after an hour. It has no characters, just three hours of watching these cyphers being pushed around a stage and I felt lobotomised after it - maybe my Spanish even suffered as a result of it.

I wish I had never seen Team America or Schindlerīs List (or any Spielberg, heīs creepy in a Michael Jackson kindof way).
The only film I havenīt seen I can think of is Rambo II.

Amelie Poulain. I swear to god I'll never ever watch it.

And I've never seen Blade runner completely as I fell asleep twice watching it, and I don't intend to see it ever again.

never... blade runner... dizzy

oh denis! how could you!

Llama, godfather, me either.

Never managed to stay awake through Dr Strangelove either. I've tried three times and every time I woke up at the end having fallen asleep on the ex (he was squidgy like a big pillow).

I only saw all of Titanic once, in the cinema. It's definitely a cinema movie, for the big spectacle. I think the whole 'love story' thing is trite. Never saw Braveheart, I probably saw all the first Rocky when I was small, haven't seen the others the whole way through, if at all. Saw There's Something About Mary a while ago, thought it was quite funny. I don't know if I've ever seen all of It's A Wonderful Life. Haven't seen White Christmas, Matrix:Revolutions was guff, Terminator is great, never saw Schindler's List.

I only saw the first Harry Potter, not really bothered seeing the rest.

You lucky you! What a piece of crap.

Liked: Titanic, Rocky, Sth About Mary, Terminator
Didn't like: Braveheart, Matrix (1, didn't bother to see the others)
Never seen: it's a wonderful life, white christmas, schindler's list

But, but, Denis, Bladerunner is the best film ever.

Newo, I think I'll take yours and the universe's advice and avoid Gangs of New York. I was under the impression it was alright. Although I now have a sneaky car-crash fascination for watching it.

Oh, I've just remembered that I haven't watched either of the Austin Powers films, mainly because the clips I saw of them made me want to do violence.

There are three Austin Powers, Llama! Some of the stuff in those movies is just annoying, but there's a lot of very funny stuff, too. Dr. Evil is a work of (evil) geniuous, a heck of a lot funnier then Mr. Powers himself!

The first two Godfathers are a must.

You know what, I've never seen Citizen Kane. Or Casablanca. (and I haven't seen Armageddon either, it seems like people treat that as a silly-blockbuster-it's-okay-to-like. I think it just looks annoying. Shawshank I really liked.
