I loved the first two austin powers films, I saw the second one at the cinema about six times with my friend not dead jenny (we had a thing for seth green) it's very base humour. I saw the first one at my dads house, when I went to the cinema with him to watch the second one he walked out half way through. I thought he'd just gone to the toilet at first but then he never came back...
I have a copy of gangs of new york and I just have no desire to watch it |

There's a massive list that I can't mostly recall, but...
Dick Tracy Jackie Brown Kill Bill 2 Casablanca North by Northwest Top Gun ...
I'm not proud of my list.

I can't believe Denis hasn't seen Bladerunner. Mostly for the fact that its on TV here on a weekly basis practically.
I loved the Blair Witch Project. Scared the bejesus out of me.
As for LOTR/Harry Potter/Star Wars type sci-fi fantasy dealies; I can hardly comprehend human behaviour nevermind some made up species. It just doesn't work for me.

I don't know why everyone focuses on me and Blade Runner. Come on, Tre fell asleep during Dr Strangelove!! That's the craziest thing ever.
Oh, and I liked Gangs of New York. I don't think it works on TV though. Come to think of it, I like Leonardo Di Caprio, despite his terrible acting. I've seen nearly all his movies and liked most of them. That's right, I did like Titanic. Hell, I liked The Beach! You can ban me now.

I wish I had never seen Titanic.
I've missed out on Gangs Of New York and The Aviator because of that sickening Di Caprio fellow.

Blair Witch was an hour and a half of nothing scary (at least as a viewer... the whole tent attack scene would be scary if you were there of course) followed by one really freaky moment at the end. I guess it goes to show that we remember our last impression more than our first.

That sounds very paradoxical! I like Di Caprio in Gilbert Grape.
I saw all the Star Wars : love 4,5,6 (they were my favorite films when i was younger)but not 1,2,3. LOTR : I like them too. But read the books that's much better. I never saw and do not want to see American pie. Oh, and I wonder how someone can feel asleep while watching a film! Watching TV keeps me awoken. |

YOU HAVEN'T SEEN BLADE RUNNER?!
Gangs of New York was a bit of a disappointment, I enjoyed it in the cinema, but I found it surprizingly broad for a Scorsese personal pet project. Daniel Day-Lewis is fantastic as Bill The Butcher. I liked The Aviator, I thought DiCaprio gave a great performance. The first time I saw Blair Witch, it was a friend's house one Sunday, we had the curtains drawn and everybody was really quiet. That's the best ways to watch it; the bit when they hear the cry in the distance and then the tent gets ripped down and they run away, and the ending are really effective. Creepy shit.

Like Dean, I haven't seen "Top Gun." Apparently unlike Dean, I have no desire to. I'm really not into war movies in general. Okay, I liked "Full Metal Jacket" (the first half much more than the second), but that's kind of an exception.

Nah, those aren't all movies I want to see. I hated Kill Bill for example, except for the fight scene in the snow, which was cinematic brilliance.
I boycotted Leo for a long time after Titanic, but there are some good movies he's in and when he's not being a heartthrob he's not too awful. Catch Me If You Can I liked, and he did a great job in the Aviator.

I vaguely remember having this conversation before with some friends - I came off least bad, I think. It started that I mentioned I hadn't seen It's A Wonderful Life (at that time), and it followed that I was told many times that I should, which I took on board, and did. Anyway, I was trumped when a friend admitted they'd never seen Jaws. I'm not sure how this was possible and she was roundly mocked. Then someone else said they had a friend who'd never seen any of the Back To The Future films. I swear the whole pub fell silent, and rightly so. That's just inhuman.

You're in so much trouble.
Denis, Jedi, my apologies. It probably was less to do with the film and more to do with how boring the company was to be fair, hehe. I shall endeavour to remedy this oversight at some point.
the blade runner thing is still weird though. |

I thought it was excellent, except for the 'everything is now okay' ending. Too much happened for that kind of ending.

Neither of the Spiderman movies. In fact, I haven't seen any of the superhero movies (Xmen, Fantastic Four, Hulk, ect,) since the second Batman.
Cult classics never seen by me: The Shining Erasehead Repo Man The Wall 2001 (or least I don't think I've ever sat and watched the whole thing at once)
