FASTMAN RAIDERMAN is definately a complete one-disc full-length album...and I think you are referring to Jon Tiven's dangling carrot from that other thread about FR being a 2-disc affair.
As Frank is indeed currently recording, perhaps this 2nd disc will be a counterpart release (like BLD and DW)...and FASTMAN RAIDERMAN will release concurrently with this new one. FR is from the same session as HONEYCOMB.
I think you will all like FASTMAN RAIDERMAN...it's wonderfully weird, but wrapped in his current sound. Kinda like HONEYCOMB in a funhouse.

Yeah, well I was quoting Tiven, yes. But I believe Fastman Raiderman isn't from the same session, though. I believe it's what we have called the Honeycomb 2 and 3 sessions, with hopefully 'Highway to Lowdown' on it, maybe the Honeycomb-session version, but maybe they are recording it in 'LA-session'

It's becoming more and more difficult (for me at last) to keep track of all the different recording sessions. Let alone the announcments/speculations about where and when and in wich permutations it might all eventually be released.
Can someone please sum up the what is rock hard fact so far? |

The exact and proper tracking list and order is as follows for the completed ready-for-pressing FASTMAN RAIDERMAN (as mentioned in a previous thread by someone):
1.If Your Poison Gets You
2.Johnny Barleycorn
3.Fast Man
4.You Cant Crucify Yourself
5.Dirty Old Town
6.Wanderlust
7.Seven Days
8.Raider Man
9.End of Summer
10.Dog Sleep
11.When The Paint Grows Darker Still
12.Im Not Dead (Im In Pittsburgh)
13.Golden Shore
This is why I believe the new songs-currently-in-production are going to be a whole seperate disc...non-connected with the FASTMAN RAIDERMAN disc. Perhaps some of the previously recorded HONEYCOMB tracks which didn't make the HONEYCOMB release (Highway to Lowdown, etc.) will find their way onto the 'second disc', or maybe Frank will use these as b-sides by going back to singles.
More to come.

I said it was a work in progress, and intimated it was to be a double disc. It has changed several times in the past week, but right now it looks like a double.
Two discs. All killer, no filler, at least in my mind. But my mind has a mind of its own.

Lemme just say I love all your input. I've read everything you post and am totally enthralled as are we all. Thank you so much! INVALUABLE! A close and reliable source has kept me up to date regarding the Man's latest steps which I would never purposely dust over, or violate, so it is wonderful to balance what I hear first hand with speculation and also what importantly you offer is beautiful.
You are the coolest to take so much time to whet (wet?) our whistles.
