By the way, Frank recorded a version of Dirty Old Town during the Honeycomb sessions (it was on the original leak which had tracks that didn't make it to the retail) and the Pixies also played it at their unplugged gig so for me this will be my third recrding of the song from Frank I've heard.
Oops sorry everyone. As already pointed out I meant All Around The World, I'm away from my music collection at the moment and I got a bit confused. I've definitly heard Dirty Old Town before somewhere, maybe the Catholics doing it live or something.
By the way, if it's alright to I can upload that Pixies Newport Folk Festival acoustic set in the sendmesomefrank thread in a week or so when I get back to my computer (it's a pixiesdiscs.com release but it's sold out).

LA sessions live to Protools. A few little overdubs but mostly the tracks as they went down.
Bone is by Wayne Jackson of The Memphis Horns (Otis Redding, Neil Young, etc.)
bye, Jon Tiven |
