I've just been reading all the responces and , to be completely honest, it was so long ago that I posted, I'm unsure what my point was, and I don't even want to re-read my original post as it was probably unclear and/or stupid.
I guess though, what does bother me, is when people say that all cultures are equal and that no culture is any better than another. And when I say culture , I mean the general, ideas, beliefs, artwork, and philosophy of a group of people. |

Oh I´m definitely morally superior to someone like that ;)
My point stems from I view everybody as equal, there´s no room for superiority or inferiority in this game, even if I do express it in bratty tones sometimes.

I admit I am a foodist-- Indian and Thai are the supreme foods on Earth.
As for people, I believe they are all different but should have equal rights.

Our Indian is probably not as consistent as the UK and there aren't as many restaurants.
But then I'll bet your Thai can't hold a candle to ours. Even Frank Black sang the praises of it. |

I got a friend going back to California for a couple weeks, the food is one of the things she´s looking forward to (palate is somewhat limited in this country - greasy to fatty - which is pretty strange given it´s next door to France - though I think it was Denis a couple years ago said France is surrounded by countries that can´t cook), she says she heard in San Francisco you can eat forty nights in a row each in a different nationality´s restaurant.

I don't even know if that's true. I like a fair amount of meat in my Chinese food, and I hear that's hard to come by in China proper.
