the only one i can think of was when i cut my long hair short not so many people thought i was gay. and i didn't look as much like a big scary monster. not sure if it's related.

fwiw, when i cut off my hair i got far FEWER reactions from women. They're bored with me now whereas before they would just lock eyes with me like they couldn;t help it.
...and do my best not to be all totally ...whatever in the hell it is I am...too something.
Gonna try to not be that.

Friend of mine had the same thing - over in SA his long hair was standard surfer issue, whereas suddenly up in Yorkshire blokes would want to beat him up - only stopping when they realised he was foreign. Then for some reason it would be okay. The mind truly boggles.

| I've had really long hair and really short hair. People probably do still kind of see you as odd if your a bloke with long hair. Maybe not as much, but there are still little scumbags around who'll take the rip out of a long-haired guy, y'know, 'hippy' and stuff! |
