After seeing him regularly listed as an influence by musicians I like, I picked up the records he managed to release during his short life, and immediately fell in love with his subtle songwriting.
As it will probably be my favorite listen for the next couple of months, I wanted to know if any of you like Nick Drake.

Oh yes, him's da man. I've only heard the Five Leaves Left album and a couple other songs, but that's enough to tell me he was an excellent songwriter.

'Free Ride' is a song I like specially.
'Pink Moon' (the only Drake record I've got) is so fucking depressive. I love it.

He's pretty cool. I got a bunch of his albums but haven't had time to listen to them yet. Plus, some the songs are out of order. Do you guys think the song order matters?

If you've ever tried to play acoustic guitar you have to be in awe of this man, his style and tone are just amazing, plus he has an amazing, rich voice. And, the songs are so beautiful and subtle. The guy was a full-on genius.

They are easy to play, just in odd tunings with capo. He has a beautiful way of starting to sing in the second bar of the phrase heīs playing, itīs still seldom used.

Definitely my favourite Drake tune, but I've always wondered if he wrote it himself. Anybody know? Somehow it just seems like it should be older.
That first time I heard the line, "ain't nothin' gone right for me, must be I've been smokin' too long," I crapped my pants then and there over the delivery. Honestly, that song hit me in a way I've only felt a precious few times. Maybe I just heard it at the right time in my life, but I'll love it forever.
