My band Scarla O' are playing 'The Comedy' (next door to 'The Comedy Store') near Leicester Square on
Tuesday 6th September

The picture above is from our gig Upstairs at the Garage in Highbury.

This gig however will be our first with our new drummer and rhythm guitarist - I've migrated to bass.

If any fb.netters can make it to the gig I'd be very happy to see them

Entry is £4 with a flyer - this and other information can be found on the Scarla O' website
(given in my profile etc...)

Thanks,

Bill / Scarla O'

Oh, for a minute I read 'Leicester' and thought i'm there.
I'll just have to listen to your eTracks instead.

And i'm still in love with your guitar.

I'm glad you like it - it's been re-sprayed candy apple red (with matching headstock) and is looking particularly lovely now. They're great guitars.

Not yet but I've got the poem safely stored away for when the right song comes along...

When I use it I'll send you a copy.

I just listened to 'Who's In The Kitchen (Cookin') - that's a great song...sounds like a 'White Album' outtake.

Little Stars
and Avatars
the waves relay the custom codes
of briny shrimp
let out of jars
let go to sweep the ocean floor
reflectiing light and changing shape
they came from somewhere
out in space
brought by the weight of
naught but air
antennae perk
and seek repeat
the dust defeats
the gift from far
from Avatars
on little stars.
