Here are the rules for Baker's Dozen. While it's more or less just a fun game, there are a few guidelines to follow.
GOAL: List 13 answers which go along with the topic. The 13th person to list an answer chooses the next topic.
1. Stick to the main topic in each thread (be it "Music" or "Television" or any other main topic which is created). 2. Try to stay on the factual side when choosing a topic, rather than having a "favorites" list. 3. Please copy the previous answers and paste them before your answers. It just looks better that way, and is easier to follow. 4. Have fun! Learn something! |

and if you thought that David Hasslehoff was a joke, check out what people wrote about him on Amazon:
Reviewer: A music fan (5 Stars) To say that this CD is underestimated would be a fair comment. This man has had an amazing impact on the world in shows such as Baywatch and Nightrider. Thank goodness that he turned his attention to a career in music. Don't let his 80's big hair fool you; if your "looking for freedom" this album will release you to a greater understanding and appreciation of music. The album is a great example of how European pop music can be done well and to great effect, and I really do hope that the best is yet to come, as the track name suggests. Come back David, we love you!
Reviewer: Max B. from Germany (5 Stars) I don't know why all Americans make fun of this living legend. For me, as a true German, David Hasselhoff is like a father. A philospher, a poet, a shining example for the entire human race. Yes...he is the reincarnation of Jesus, the Messiah. His incomparable music ended the cold war and let our minds fly on the wings of tenderness. He is responsible for the fall of the Berlin Wall, he liberated the East Germans! It takes years to completely understand the complex lyrics with the hidden messages. Only Germans can recognzize the thousands of metaphors and allegories that David put in his songs. David Hasselhoffs dreamworld, a world of speaking cars, silicon breasts and enough whiskey, simply is the modern interpretation of the Paradise, the Garden Eden.
David, if the Americans don't want you, come to Germany, you cold become our king...King David...now I see the biblical similarities...unbelievable.
