You can't switch to skulls before skeletons is played out...which may never happen, at the current rate...

No, but it's got bones in it. If it was up to me I wouldn't allow it, but this topic is kinda dead. Ha.

I'd start a new one but each time I think of a theme, I find I can't come up with a dozen answers...

How about a general theme, rather than specific words?

Like 'Death'-

Pixies-Dead.
Pantera-Cemetary Gates.
Blue Oyster Cult-Don't Fear The Reaper.
Chris De Burgh-Don't Pay The Ferryman.
Death-Evil Dead.
Deicide-Dead By Dawn.
Carcass-Maggots In Your Coffin.

Er, there's probably billions, but I'm still 5 short right now!

Funny (well...), I almost submitted "suicide". Or more specifically, "songs written after/about the suicide of someone the writer knew". (E.g. Vic Chesnutt "Florida" - and I'm sure I know one or two others... but I can't put my finger on it...).

I'm not sure there are twelve though.
