Like being ill ever arrives with good timing. In the midst of a very busy work week....I woke up yesterday to the horror of my dinner the night before coming alive in my body and trying to find any means to escape. I swear I was camped out in or right next to the bathroom all morning and into early afternoon. Luckily I hadn't eaten that much for dinner so it was able to pass through me fairly quickly.
Isn't food poisoning the worst punishment in the world? I was just so grateful that it didn't choose to kick in on my hour drive to work. I don't know what I would have done.
anyone else have some food poisoning stories? |

Back in '93 all in ONE day I got food poisoning (Taco Bell), heat stroke (beach), and alcohol poisoning (me). That was a fun day. Luckily they were all mild cases, nevertheless...
I was alone...in my BIG BED

food p'ing sucks! got it last in L.A. earlier this year while doing some training for work...ate some whacky seafood stuff that smelled a little funny. stayed up all nite. sicky sicky sicky. went back to training (it was EXPENSIVE training--i couldn't miss a day) and felt better after drinking a bottle of maalox and two rolls of rolaids.

Hope your feelin' better, mosleyk. If there's anything I can't stand, it's sick stomach!
Well, and loads of other things. But I have a pretty weak stomach! |

bad crab claws got me a long time ago. I usually go with my instincts now if something doesn't smell or taste right, I'll leave it alone. Oh, and never eat a pre-prepared egg salad sandwich from a case at a Texaco gas station while you are on the interstate travelling across the country. That happened to my brother many years ago.
All of the true things I am about to tell you are shameless lies |

Funnily enough, I got a wave of nausea earlier, while waiting for some chips to cook in the oven. I had'nt eaten since early this morning (or maybe last night?), because I'd been in bed all day, feeling really run down. I had a lie down, tried to get some food into me and had some polo mints! I think it was wind!! |
