Joey...you should attempt to keep your threads on track. Most of them start as a point and then wander off into oblivion. If you really dislike Ramones and Radiohead, so be it. A lot of people WOULD like to hear your opinion...not just a statement that devolves into a completely random subject. Hone your threads. Do you really hate R & R? And do you really hate those who like them? Examples, please, and explanations...and specifics. These will give the responses merit. I am not saying that you specifically are responsible for this, and yes, others, including myself have created threads that are silly...but this one is a bit negative and challenging, with no blood in it. The reason I am using you as an example in particular is because you are around here a lot lately, which is wonderful! So, as a newcomer with a lot to say, give us stuff with meat, and influence people who are starting out even newer than you to give FB.Net an enthralling sense of credibility. A lot of people have been around here a LONG time, including myself, and feel that threads like these hold no relevence. So give us some. Bad things, as you've witnessed, have happened around here lately...and one of the reasons were these kind of threads, which, honestly, I can read in real-time if I were to visit any moronic chatroom on MSN. Let's keep some integrity within this website, and produce a core for our ideas. Thanks, man.

I agree, Floop. It was babdly stated. I have no problem with Joey's threads either...I'm not making rules either...I'm suggesting. Maybe it wouldn't be so boring if people had a point to their statements of topic. That's all.

i guess i just disagree your statement. i don't think silly threads were the cause of recent "bad things".

Not the 'cause'...but the validity of some threads were questioned and brought forth during the maelstrom. I have no problem with silly threads...but I personally feel (in my opinion) that threads, no matter how nonsensical, should have a reason for creating them. Using Joey as an example, I am interested in why he doesn't like R & R. That's all. Maybe I should have posted this question to Joey before stating my annoyance above. It just doesn't seem logical to me to make a statement without an explanation of the feeling behind the statement, then watch it spin into something about movies, and then this. That's why I likened it to a chatroom topic...because they always end up nowhere close to what the room is titled. It just seems like litter to me, if there is no point.

Where's that thread where you could post whatever the hell you wanted? It was quite useful to avoid this kind of situation.

Well the itch is gone now. But I fear we have given the thread some structure. It needs to be free form.
