Tapatio is much better IMO. Not as spicy, but a flavor miles beyond tabasco.

It's good stuff, I like it and all, but there's better hot sauces even here in this backwater for Mexican food.
That said, toss some chips in a bit of tabasco, you've got some good eating right there.
How's that for a slice of fried gold? |

my favorite sauce for french fries is a sauce consisting of these 3 items: mayo+ketchup+tabasco..

Well it seems pretty obvious that Mexican food tastes good only with Mexican hot sauce. Which Tabasco sauce isn't despite the name.

Tabasco sauce is quite good, especially the habanero sauce, but there are better, hotter, nicer packaged sauces around. Like here:

Check out their "Hot Hot" and "Super Hot" sauces. I've only tried a couple that they list, but have been to a few hot sauce stores. Always fun, always painfull. |

Tabasco is great... although my mate used to have a sauce called 'Daves Insanity Sauce' which was about 10 times the strength of 'the 'Basco.' Top stuff... I love spicy food!
