Frog, where did you get this? It's fabulous. I especially like the very first one, before everything is about to begin.

This is from the Sunday night (added show) I think. They played 3 shows at Greek Theater Fri, Sat, Sun. I think Frank said in 'King Holds Court' that this was his favorite show of the tour. I saw the Sat night show. I think it was the best show I've ever been too. It's beautiful at night too. As dumb as it sounds there's something magical about being in a greek theater, drunk, with the most spectacular views of SF Bay, listening to the pixies rock.

same here, im trying to find the back of my head and cant, i know however that i was standing next to davey havok for a couple songs, if i can find his dreadlocks in there im right next to him. my first pixies experience....i couldnt help but notice how cool it was that frank was wearing blue eyeliner for no apparent reason. and itd be awesome if frank thought it was the show was his favorite, i do remember him saying at the end that it was a good show.

At first I was like, hey, I was at that show! Then I was like, hey, those are my pictures!
Too bad my cheap ass digital camera made them all blurry. It's times like those that you wish you didn't get a middle of the road model camera. 3x zoom just doesn't cut it.
Well, glad someone found 'em and enjoyed. I didn't even think of posting a link here. That's pathetic.
The Greek in Berkeley is a great venue for shows. At night, the fog rolls in from the SF bay and the atmosphere can be spine tingling. I saw a few Chris Isaak sows there that were spellbinding. Pixies had a great time performing, you could tell.

Wow, looks like a beautiful venue. And wow, a Greek Theatre that actually looks somewhat Greek. Not like the one in Los Angeles (the one in south california-tee hee!) which is an okay out door venue but is basically some poles and a tarp, no character whatsoever. And if you light a cigarette a nazi in a yellow jacket puts a disposable ashtray in your face, even though it's an OUTDOOR VENUE. I don't even smoke but I think that's a little rash. Is it me or does Kim look flippin' adorable these days? |

The Berkeley Greek is great. First time there, I caught the first two of the three shows but not the one pictured here. Yes, the tobacco nazis were amusing. I lit a cig and a security guard tapped me and escorted me to the mezzanine. He said smoking the other was OK but no tobacco. We shared a joke over the state of the union. |
