How cool are they? Been listening to the album, really, really good! Girl Anachronism is the best song i've heard in ages, coupled with the video, and very pretty girl... hey, i like a female fronted band, i've been cured!

yep, they are fantastic, Girl Anachronism, Coin-Operated Boy, Half-Jack and Good Day are all superb songs. I think Amanda Palmer is seeing the lead singer from the Kaiser Chiefs (they're everywhere!!), so you're out of luck bumblebeeboy2 ;)
I think there is a link from the official site to another which has lots of live mp3's.

I like them. I've got one of their albums, but seem to only listen to Coin Operated Boy and Girl Anachronism.
You run all kinds of red lights except the ones on the street. When you run out of exits you can always count sheep. |

yeah...i like em, i pretty much like the whole album, i do find 'girl anachronism' a little contrived in a 'look at me not fitting in an arent i a rebel kinda way...the rest of the album seems to have real meanace and a dark sense of humour |

They've got a good set (I think I remember seeing them) at morning becomes eclectic.

I first heard of them when they posted on Regina Spektor's message board and it was enough to get me to pick up the record. Really great stuff. They're from Boston, right? I'm moving up there next month so hopefully I'll be able to catch them sometime. Okay, bye.

Another band that I was the first to mention here.
I'd like to thank God, my mom and dad, my manager, you the fans...........
Seriously though Simon, you need to listen to me more about this new music lark.
By the way, Amanda used to be seeing her bandmate so I am not sure when that ended and this new relationship began but it will never last. Think of the distance between them for a start. There's hope for me yet.
Don't believe the type!

I know "Girl Anachronism" through one of Mike's mix CD's, and I think it's great for playing over and over again. I'm not familiar with the rest of the band's work, but I'm kind of curious.
I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied. |

I could email you another song or two if you like Nathan?
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place
