Imitation is the best form of compliment or something like that, so:

Violet, Violet
Violets the colour of the sea
half way between
polluted and clean
3 miles from the sewage factory....

not at all meant to be disrespectful, This is supposed to be a joke! before you start!!

and you're questioning the sciences
and questioning religion
you're looking like an idiot
and you no longer care.

I don't think this song deserves compliments. It's by far the weakest of the album, IMO..

Funny though :)

I like it. It's sweet. The first time I heard it I was driving and I almost swerved off the road, the words were so romantic they hit me in the belly.

Violet Violet
Violet is the song for me.
People say it's bad
But I believe in romance
and that's good enough for me

Not a fan of the song either:

Violet, Violet,
Violet causes retching in me
Half way between
Bile and chyme
The vomit rises up like a sea

PS: Don't lock my account! This is a(n attempted) joke!

Mmh. I'm bad at this.
I like the song but I kinda agree it's the weakest of the album.

Sandwiched between "Atom" and "Joy"
To skip for eternity

The light of the forum for me,
I could almost be smitten
By the divine starmekitten
Is she weren't a sodding Brummie....

Please answer this question for me,
From your academic garret
Is it true Jasper Carrott
Is high culture for your average Brummie?

Andy, Andy
Trying to be funny, maybe
with that rhyme I fear
you're showing your years
Jasper who? is my question to thee

Andy, Andy
Up north of the border you be
this may be defence
for your dated reference
I gather Scotland is slow for TV

Andy, Andy
Your charm is so much, I decree
Each cruel twist and turn
Stings like chinese burns
But beware, I'm one quite mean lady

Tre, Tre,
You must be at least 4 foot 3,
Your hair's a disgrace,
Grease coats your face,
But you still pass for a Bruummie beauty...

Tre Tre,
The truth is now clear to me,
Your accent's divine
Your humour does shine,
You are not even a pseudo-Brummie.

I think Violet is beginning to grow on me.

Andy, Andy
I'm five foot, you ignorant flea
My hair it does shine
My visage sublime
How bitter you are, jealously

Andy, Andy
I'm questioning your sanity
You're saying that slow
Violet did grow
In your graces? Freinds we can't be...

and you're questioning the sciences
