My hair.
Yep, rarity that I would initiate a topic about such a thing, but I need to hear some outsiders opinions.
Ive been dying my hair since i was about 12 (now 19), and have gone through basically every colour. I dyed black a few months ago (again), which is what it is now.
My natural colour is a really light 'honey brown' (in the words of an ex teacher)...
Im sick of it being black,a nd dark colours, ive considered growing my hair out to its natural, but its so long it will take YEARS. IM way too impatient. So i could bleach it again....
Im worried all my ahir will fall out if i bleach it! Im thinking of bleaching then dying it a sort of subtle blonde....
I dont know if i should, or if theres a better way to get black out. I know you can strip it, but it damages your hair even more.
any suggestions, stories of this nature, general comments, welcome!!
I cant believe im making a thread about hair.

damn you, I was about to delete this topic!
Yeah. I may bleach it, and dye it near as damn poss to my natural, and let it grow out and blend in to itself.

just go get a fancy smancy hair cut, then you wont care what color it is. youll look in the mirror and say, "damn this is a fancy haircut." shaving your head like starmekitten suggested will have a similar effect.

Believe you me, i have considered shaving my head. The problem is I would like like a big potato
not a look im striving for. Fancy smancy haircuts....yeah, never too good at them. My hair is all curly and stuff, so proves difficult in getting the aforementioned.
Cheeseman - you sod ;) you shall never escape me now, when im living downthe road to where you work! mwhaha

tempting, really is. But i really will look like a potato. my face is far too round (particulalry at the moment! Unfortuantely im far too vain to make myself look like a vegetable (no matter how much i act like one!) I might do it when i finish uni. Go travelling and shave my head. stop any scary guys trying it on, at least.

you will all be excitied to hear, i am at this moment in time dying it. It went wrong the first time (the tiger look I wasnt going for), and it will probably go wrong this time too.
Ah well, i havent f***ed my hair for a while.
It feels horrible! I got loads of intensive hair things to (attempt) to sort it out.

You could always do a Mia Farrow type cute short haircut and then have perfect virgin hair grow back. I however choose to constantly mess with mine right down to cutting it myself - which may not be a good thing, one of the techy people who fixes our network offered to blag me some vouchers for free haircuts at a fancy shmancy salon when he saw me on Friday after not seeing me for a couple of months.
