Technically I'm due on the 17th.
But having some cramps here and there.
We already know its a boy.

I'll say happy birthday on the 16th, Jonas, at a healthy 8lb 4oz.

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Bastille Day, this boy's gonna be in touch with his French Canadian roots.

7 pounds 6 ounces like his future soulmate.

Have a c-section, preferrably under general anesthesia. Sleep thru the whole thing.

That's terrible. Really. (I know you're probably joking, but the high rates of c sections in the US is a tragedy of medical malpractice.)

Sorry if I offended. I wasn't being flippant. It's what happened to me after 2 days of labor.

I am sure Carolyn will pop that baby right out, being the breeder that she is, unlike me.

I don't want to mess up Carolynanna's thread. Sure c sections are needed sometimes, but too often their done for convinence (for the patient or the doctor) or to reduce the doctor's liability. Both of my kids were c-sections, which still upsets my wife. Long stories.

I don't wanna mess up the thread either, darwin. My section was an emergency one and definitely necessary. As it was, the baby scored a 2 on the Apgar at birth. Anyway, back on topic...

10 cm tre, 10 cm.
Bones move too!

Seriously though, epidurals make it way way way easier.
I had a nap at 8 cm dilated with the epidural.
Without at 8 cm, I was begging to be knocked out...
