I always wear my watch but that is more as a piece of jewellery than a time keeping device - my arms are quite long and look odd (in my opinion) if I don't break up the expansive length with something chunky on the wrists. It's quite large - chunky black leather strap and a raised tank style mirrored face. I hate checking my mobile all the time which is why I won't use it to check the time.

The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it.

I think it only applies to the rubbery black watch bands. When you sweat and you take them off. Ewwwww!

Not worn a watch since I started playing guitar some 10 years ago- drives me nuts having it on my left wrist, and always gets in the way while playing on the right wrist, so that was that.

Besides, in these days of mobile phones and Tamagotchis with built-in clocks, I don't need no stinking watches. I'm pretty drunk.
