I really steer clear of the whacky tobaccy nowadays, but in my college days...oh man! My roomates and I would come up with some interesting snacks while we "trip through the day and waste all our thoughts at night." Here's some of our snacks:
Pepperoni and bacon pan pizza from Pizza Hut (yes PH sucks, but, you know...), vanilla ice cream and Pepsi was almost orgasmic.
Homemade "pizza", which was a frozen Tina's burrito microwaved with processed cheese, sour cream, and mustard. MMMMMMMM!!!
Popcorn balls. We would pop corn, and mix it in a bowl with vanilla extract, marshmallow cream, and Karo syrup. It usually came out a bit wet, but was delightful all the same. (Side story: one evening my roomate and I became belligerent with some sober guests who we really didn't know that well and forced them to try our popcorn balls. It took about 5 minutes of shouting and threats of physical violence before they agreed. They said they liked it.)
My personal favorite...sounds nasty but it's actually delicious: Oreo cookies with french onion dip.
Any other 'I got the munchies' recipies and/or favorites?

3 words - Cool Ranch Doritos (oh yeah!)
A coke squishee for the dry mouth.
And anything chocolate, especially brownies for dessert.
And by then I've usually eaten my buzz away.
Sigh, I've been sooooo sober for sooooo long...

I try to go for the fruit since once you start eating, the chances are good you won't stop till you're stuffed, so some frozen yogurt and red grapes and strawberries and maybe pita and hummus or popsicles made with actual fruit....
all good choices.
Those who find themselves ridiculous, sit down next to me. |
