Based on a given theme, five songs for each.
The theme can come into play in a lyric (you'd have to show us the lyric) or in the title, or in the artist, or in any combination therein.

theme one: beautiful women (of course)

dirty girl - the eels
I like a girl with a dirty mouth

do you realize - the flaming lips
Do You Realize - that you have the most beautiful face

she's a lady - pulp
She's a woman. Oh yeah, she's a woman. She's a lady.
And I just love the way she moves, the way she moves

some girls are bigger than others - the smiths
Some girls are bigger than others
Some girls are bigger than others
Some girl's mothers are bigger than
Other girl's mothers

stupid and shallow - the futureheads
But i like it when you're stupid and shallow

()

[edit] de-bolded and yes jokes are fine

I want to live, breathe, I want to be part of the human race

Would it be totally inappropriate to include 'Young Girl' by Gary Puckett and the Union Gap? "With all the charms of a woman..."

Let's see:
Beautiful - Christina Aguilera (now, I know it's a pretty cruddy choice, but I've heard this performed very movingly by other than Ms. A)

Pretty Woman - Roy Orbison

Bone Machine - Pixies
"You're so pretty when you're unfaithful to me"

Jackie O - Groop Dogdrill
"You've got style baby, you've got class"

Vast - Pretty When You Cry

How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Best Sex In Texas - Groop Dogdrill

kkkitchens, What Were You Thinking? - Mclusky (if Kitty is allowed to joke about recent events then so am I)

Cosmopolitan - Nine Black Alps

Hey - Pixies ("Been trying to meet you")

Nicole - Ash (that one's for you Surfer)

Man that CD would rock!

Don't believe the type!

This hypothetical mix tape. Would this be for a hypothetical gentleman? For example, you'll remember a hypothetical situation recently involving an imaginary person and the hypothetical girl he was trying to woo.
Same deal?

Hypothetically, of course.

Ocean songs:

1000 Oceans - Tori Amos
Ocean Of Girls - James Kochalka
Metal Detector - They Might Be Giants
That Wave - XTC
The Swimmer - Frank Black

That was a really quick effort. I'm sure I could come up with a better five songs, given the time.

well The Dirty Three have beaten you all to it.
They released a whole album of songs about the Ocean - called "Ocean Songs" suprisingly. Beautiful it is too.
Tracks
1. Sirena
2. The Restless Waves
3. Distant Shore
4. Authentic Celestial Music
5. Backwards Voyager
6. Last Horse on the Sand
7. Sea Above, Sky Below
8. Black Tide
9. Deep Waters
10. Ends of the Earth

and there album previous to Ocean Songs was entitled Horse Stories which ironically had only 1 song with a 'horse' related topic.

the fact that they are two of the best albums ever released is irrelevant tho i suppose.

Going along with Doog's God theme:

Dear God - XTC
God - Tori Amos
Kiss Me, Son Of God - TMBG
Two Lives - Young Fresh Fellows ("I wanted to be close to God, but not the expense of sin.")
God Of Miles :P
