...you've "rediscovered" thanks to the reunion?
I've always dug "Nimrod's Son" but since seeing them play it last fall, I've fallen in love with it all over again. Really started appreciating so many things about it:
The drums Joey's guitar The way Frank laughs Kim's vocals on "Oh bury me far away please, bury me" Even the "1 2 3 4" part.
Has anybody else had a similar experience with a Pixies song since they started touring again?

Vamos. I never really liked it. Now I do, though I still think it's one of their weakest. |

Me too with Nimrod's Son, K. Actually, the revival in appreciation started in Shepherds Bush, December 2003.
How's that for a slice of fried gold? |

After I got the Pixies DVD, i fell in love with Nimrod's Son too. Cos of my Australianness I havnt seen the great band yet, but I know what you mean. In Heaven was boring to me from the Purple Tape, but after seeing FB swinging that guitar on the DVD i was in love
