Well, I guess it's more like Saturday morning, so you could say it's tonight! It's actually more of a party we're playing with another band, I think it'll be held outdoors!
BTW, here's Lansdowne Road stadium!
And here's a pic of Neil Diamond playing there that I found-kind of gives an idea of what The Pixies will gig might look like! :)

Now that's a fuckin venue deserving of this reunion gig if ever I saw one!
Reminds me of a Rolling Stones show I saw a few years back at Vanderbilt University's Football Field (my hometown college football team, worst in the SouthEastern Conference (SEC), but their my boys,)
So, where you gonna be sittin Carl?
I guess they've sold it out, huh?
And, yeah, your gig's Saturday night,...so, you gettin pumped up or what! Whatcha gonna sing and whatcha gonna wear Mr. Lead Singer?

Oh yeah, that gig I played went well. It was outdoors, on a little stage, with a little bonfire at the back. My amp was making a lot of noise, I was fuckin' around with it a lot, should have left it alone. But it was cool, we got a decent reaction!

I only played guitar!! But, two friends told me that I added a bit of a Pixies twist to the music! :)
We're called The Blips. The band was set up by a best buddy of mine (since I was 5!), he writes all the songs (except a song I wrote which he liked and gave it his own twist!) ANd we have a fiddle player too!
I was all dressed in black! No lingerie, or phone numbers. Maybe next time!! |

Fucking Aye Carl, adding a PIXIES twist to the music, nice! I don't know why I thought you were the lead singer. I bet the fiddle player adds a nice sound to the band, huh!

Cool...so what kind of music do you guys play or which bands would your music remind me of, if any. I bet you do some traditional/nontraditional Irish folk music with that fiddle in the band, huh.
