It's a Warren Zevon cover called "Ain't That Pretty At All" and it's on "Enjoy Every Sandwich: The Songs of Warren Zevon."
iTunes about $1.07 (includes tax).
EDIT: it's better than Bam Thwok!
How come we say Los Angeleez?

which, unfortunately, isn't saying much. Bam Thwok always struck me like more of a Breeders than a Pixies one, and a weaker b-side of theirs at that... |

Good point. It probably *is* a Breeders song.

I was just waiting for PixieSteve to come and compare this news to his mother in some way.
How's that for a slice of fried gold? |

Sorry, it just doesn't quite make the canon for me. Not that I don't enjoy the song! But it would have been something I'd expect to hear on "Title TK" or something...and expecting a new PIXIES song when I first heard it, it just seemed kind of disappointing. And call me a little jaded...but Joey's half-tone bends in it almost seem like they are put their to make it a little more Pixies-ish (as well as Frank's rather gratuitous backing vocals)...it just sounds a little calculated and doesn't give me that Pixies vibe of old. More like a facsimile of it. The song is fun, and like I said, I enjoy it on an overall level. but it kind of makes me fear the disappointment with this much-spoken-of new Pixies album. |

There are probably a load of Pixies songs we don't know about-new songs! (fingers crossed!) |

Do you guys think they would have done well with the Zevon classic "Werewolves of London"? I know they don't have a regular piono guy but it'd be worth hearing Frank go,"AAAAHHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" |
