it's true. i've waited for this day for a long time.. and now it's come.
as of next week i will be "Customer Of The Week" which means they'll have my picture up at the coffee shop (which they took today) and that i will get free coffee for that entire week! (not sure if this is an all day thing or one coffee a day)..
if you'd like to stop by and admire my picture, it will be at Peet's Coffe in Santa Monica (the one on Main Street).. come soak up the positive vibes and share in this wonderful celebration

i should be happy about all this, considering what a great honor it is and cause for celebration. but part of me wonders: where do i go from here? what will possibly top this?

i'm confident that they have some sort of strict creteria.
each of the employees gets to choose a customer of the week when their turn comes around, and this week i got chosen by this girl i talk to. i think she may like me, but i'm not sure..
whether or not she likes me in a non-platonic way, i don't think she would let that cloud her decision making. no, i've obviously got the right stuff |

It makes me so proud. You know how they say we're all a bunch of losers with no life who have no other goal than spending the day watching the Beautiful Women thread... But we know now that some of us are willing to achieve. First two reelers succeeds in posting in every section of the forum, and then floops becomes Customer Of The Week. Not to mention darwin's gold medal of scientific stuff of a few months ago, can't remember what it was but I was impressed too. You guys restore hope and motivation in all of us. Thank you.

What Denis sez. You spend more time on the net than I would have thought humanly possible and now I find out the rest of it you spend in one coffeeshop. you´re my hero Floop.

thanks you guys. it really means a lot to me. this is probably the happiest week of my life.
darwin - i'll have to ask about that. there is a looong line there viliande - just stay dedicated to your vision. someday, you'll get the sweet payoff (as i have) toba - actually, they only play classical. but classical is okay. homers - i'm kind of dating someone already, so that wouldn't be cool. but she is pretty cool. she's in a band and stuff (oooh, cooooool!) |

I've done similar drives, TarTar...I can recommend some good places to eat along the way...I'm way more familiar with the I-40 cross-country corridor, tho...(can you say In-N-Out burger 3x a day!?) |

What backdoor shenanigans take place in the alleyway of the coffee shop to award you this privledge? I am sure you can suck a coffee bean through a thin straw!
