Not trashy at all by the pic - but how does it fit?
And does this now mean that I have to repost my lengthy question about shoes in the stupid trends thread? |

All questions of that nature belong here.
So...
My love of MAC cosmetics is well documented here. However, is this lipstick color a bit too...matte, muted, schoolmarmish, whatever? This question weighs heavily on my mind these days.

Good question, Surfer, thank you. I worry about the sleeves being too short. That really bothers me for some reason.

Ooh - as good as that lipstick looks in the shot I've always feared that colour in case it makes me look like a corpse. But I'm just frightened about the mattness - if it was maybe a bit sheerer?
Okay - how do I buy a bikini to wear in 6 months time? I may be a different shape then. |

I won't tell you what that colour lipstick reminds me of, it isn't pretty, I don't like it but I don't like lipstick anyway.
I bought a metallic sage green eyeshadow today, do you think bhindi's are cool? I love them but don't wear them day to day at the moment becasue I don't want to offend any of the largely asian population on the course, but of a night? should I start wearing them again?

and surfer, I'm looking through the schuh and faith website for you at the minute. What about a pair of khussa?

Oh and I don't think the sleeves are too short - in fact the more I look at it the more I'm thinking it's a really sweet dress. |

Kitten those shoes are cute as hell - but I have a silver sequined pair already - very disco lesbian. This summer is another excuse to buy a totally new pair of wearable shoes. |

Simon, shush now
aren't they great? to be found in schuh or on www.schuh.co.uk
and I insist I bet they look great on.
And I have to say, K that dress is cute and you've got the pins to pull it off but it's not the sleeves thats the concern it's the neckline in your case, it's too high.

That is a valid point - I can see where you are coming from. I will have to try them on to decide. And yet again - this is why this thread is a very good thing. |

I'm more interested in what she's eating. Is that a donut, or what?
Junk food is probably the most fun thing to shop for, at least for me. That and CDs, but those cost a lot more.

Never mind the food - Kathryn in answer to your post in the what's on your mind thread - I'd personally be worried about the heels on those shoes not being high enough.

Hammerhands, are you recommending that we should start bashing heads with our loved ones?

I have no idea why, I'm about to sit down to listen to a (American Rugby) football game, a pre-season game, in the Canadian Football League! I obviously have no control over these things. |

As do I - my own amusement is so much more important to me than anyone elses. I do find it slightly disturbing that that is now the norm.
And if by "man arms" you mean muscular - then I'd be showing them off as much as possible.
