anyone else notice that Kim would go play over by the drums on nearly every trompe song they played?

i found that odd...perhaps she doesn't have the fondest memories of making that album but her vocals on the songs on which she did sing were fantastic.

or she may need daves drums for timing. they are the rhythm section so are bonded so tightly

Definitely toba. She was very close to Dave for a good deal of the show.

Did you notice her curtsey near the end?

She did not keep the cig in her moputh for the entire song, switched it to her pick hand.

I noticed the Kim-sticking-to-Dave too during a good portion of the shows...maybe she has an auditory problem and needs to rely on the percussion. I don't think it's because she doesn't like Trompe songs. The hearing thing too may explain why Dave's drum set is always off to the right, so very close to her as opposed to center. But as I think of it as I type, I have an old show from Amsterdam 1991 on VHS and the drums are close to stage right, and Kim seems very dependent on them. Maybe it's always been like this.

She goes over to Dave for the faster songs. She did it last year too.
