thank god this will be over soon. all i want is my traffic report before i go to work, but instead i get a shot of some jacko fan holding a sign saying "TRUST JESUS - REPENT!" what a worthwhile thing to film for 20 minutes straight, nbc.

anyway, i bet that if jackson is found guilty he'll kill himself within 6 months. that's my bet.

I haven't checked it out. Something about the juxtaposed words
"Michael Jackson' and "copped a feel" puts me off.

I sure hope if I'm ever on trial there won't be people who know nothing about the facts of my case proclaiming my certain guilt because they think I'm creepy...

sorry, but what's the difference between being innocent and not guilty? definitions of innocent include "not guilty" *shrugs*

In the US legal system the burden is on the prosecution to prove guilt
beyond a shadow of a doubt. A jury finds a defendant not guilty
because the state didn't make its case beyond said shadow of a doubt.
You can not be found "innocent" nor can you plea "innocent" - only
guilty or not guilty.

Sorry to go on. I used to do this for work.

Just saw your post, KSR. That pretty much applies in every state, not
just Massachusetts.

it's so sad that this is big news.

is it even sadder that in my head i am like I would love to see the jackson 5 on tour? when the commontator said they might get back and tour...

I know it's pathetic... but the Jackson 5 Rocked!

Ok I know he is probabaly really a pedofile... so I won't go.

Now all jacko has to do is get a record out quick while the media are hot. Maybe a super-funky cover of Morrissey's "I Changed My Plea To Guilty"

"... 'cause freedom is waasted ooon meeee..."

or Oingo Boingo's "Little Girls"?

"They don’t care if I’m a one way mirror / They’re not frightened by my cold exterior..."

Any other suggestions? A song by The Vaselines perhaps :-P

only natural someone would say this after that one post about justice to sex offenders being administered by big guys with baseball bats.

i really don't have strong feelings about this one at all.

i lean towards him having not done it actually, but I've been so disgusted with just about everything that is happening in the world i haven't been paying attention to the trial. i don't have cable or anything.. i listen to NPR in the morning which is hard enough what with the "a car bomb exploded in tikrit today..." running tally.

please, no lib/con argument.
i know i'm stupid, i know i deserve it, just keep it in the holster, ok?
