I thought it was unbelievable when they found that one guy in the Philippines in the 70s but holy crow.

Did you read about the Costa Rican youth that were left for dead by the smugglers? They put a note in a bottle and it was discovered by a fisherman on the Cocos Islands (600km from shore) who alerted authorities. They found the ship and saved everyone on board.

or

What about the Piano Man? The guy that was found wandering on the shores of the Isle of Shepperley in England with a rain soaked dinner jacket and pants with the labels pulled off of the clothing. He has not said a word since being found but plays the piano phenomenally. They think he is a Czech composer.

If you are posing that question towards me? Absolutely not. The two stories that I cited are completely and utterly true.

Just thought I had better prove it.

Take care ya'll.

Sheppey.
He's not a Czech composer, they've found the man he was thought to be. I think he's me. Apparently i look like him.

I wasn't trying to call you gullible. I assume it's legit if it's in the Guardian. The guy in CDG Airport is also true.

PS- Did you know "gullible" is not in the dictionary?

Well I know it's not in my dictionary, but most of the words you use aren't either, so... Charles De Gaulle is in it though.

I think it's 'cos they are worded like jokes. I know the second one is true but I have never heard the first one. Interesting though.

I think that guy from the second one was abducted by aliens. Abductees have been known to return with amazing abilities they didn't previously have. I'll take the anal probe for Frank's talent.

The second part of that report about Hiroo Onoda is pretty funny. I remember hearing about it years ago, and although it's kind of sad it's also bloody funny.

Hehehe.

The guy in the airport story is really very sad. He's been there so long that when he did have the chance to leave he didn't want to. I never read about him before. I wonder what the movie based on him is like.
