How the hell are you posting from the gym? You never have answered that question (posted before by myslef and at least one other).

Don't gyms in the UK have computers, where you can waste time after working out?

I bought a vial of Kathryn's sweat on eBay, but it turned out to be fake.

Not the last time I went to one, though that was a few years ago now.

Why don't you just go home at that point?

This is gonna sound the wrong way but I need a few minutes to pant and catch my breath and let the sweat drip.

Frozen strawberries might help. I use vanilla soymilk too, that's my secret ingredient.

Or freeze a banana that has gone mushy and brown, and plop it in the blender instead of ice.

hmm. my strawberries were fanstastic. i used vanilla frozen yogurt. i can't believe i need a recipe for a strawberry banana smoothie.

it was really gross, though. couldn't eat it. mix delicious incredients together and get a glass of crap.

I don't think fresh straberries are sweet enough, unless you cut them up and coat them with sugar and leave them in the fridge for awhile (too much work). Frozen ones are already sweet and make smoothie cold without adding ice. And as Kathryn said you can freeze and fresh fruits which elliminates the need for ice and you don't have worry about fruit going bad like it does in 3 days.

I've never put yogurt or ice cream in mine, might have to try that, although it doesn't sound too promising.

i wouldn't recommend it.

so what's your banana to strawberry to soymilk ratio? no ice at all?

I don't have official measurements but here is a favorite.

1/3 blender frozen straberries
2 medium sized bananas
1 small can of diced pineapples
vanilla soymilk covering all fruit and almost filling blender
top with grape juice or orange juice or both

It seems simple but there is an art to it.

That sounds intriguing, LBF, though it's a huge portion and I am not sure about what the grape is gonna do color-wise. What color does that make the final product? I am concerned, to be honest.

Aiiiii. That's a little off-putting for me. Another of my food neuroses, I guess.

I don't want to sound unsupportive of your smoothie-making so I won't even ask about what color the OJ turns it.

It's better cold so add ice if you think it will be warm. And blend it for a long time. I make an entire blender full as you can see from secret recipe, it takes awhile to drink it all. I think I'm gonna whip one up too, it's been too long. Good luck.

Kathryn, you don't put very much of either juice in it. I though I had expressed that in my secret recipe. The coloring of the juice is hardly noticable, it is much more noticeable in taste.

The main color is from strawberries, when blended are pink. Like the ice cream? I hate to break this to you, but strawberry ice cream is pink. Same deal with strawberry smoothie.

No, I've never seen one of those. I'm talking about a typical regular size blender. Like the ones i see in every kitchen.
