R.I.P. Sam and Max
They cancelled the show, I can't buy the comic anywhere, they began on a new game, cancelled it, restarted the project, cancelled it and restarted it... Let this be the one!

What's almost as sad is that I can't see a photo of Christopher Reeve without thinking of him sucking human fetuses on South Park.

Actually that's just part of the message and not my sig, but thanks for the idea. I may use it yet. My real sig is still...

I did think that at first, but then I noticed your regular sig was missing for that post.

Why hasn't this been locked yet? Can't we have seperate obituary threads? They hardly come along that often.
Although perhaps I have just answered my own question.

This thread has completely lost it's original purpose which wasn't about containing the obituaries at all. Is it a list thread? Is it relevent? as I suspect in this case it was ressurected only to make a point.
To lock, or not to lock...
- I tried doing that once, making every minute count. It gave me a headache.

I feel RIPped off!
RIP Robert Donner. I actually didn't know his name until I found out he died. He was uniquely funny as Exidor in Mork & Mindy, and was also in The Waltons and countless other TV shows. |

RIP Barnard Hughes. He was renouned for his stage and screen work, but you'd probbaly best remember him as Granpa in The Lost Boys. I also remember him as Mr. Merlin!!
Also, comedy actor Red Buttons, and Sinatra pianist Bill Miller, RIP. I think I'd heard of Red Buttons before, but I can't picture him in anything. |

R.I.P. Candy cigarettes Killed by political correctness and a sudden awareness of brand suggestion, candy cigarettes were the dogs preverbial as a kid because they a) looked like cigarettes which was well cool and, b) were a sweet but as is the way of all childhood sweets they have to disappear from view or we'd have nothing to wax nostalgic about. Gone are the mojos and the sherbert dib dabs of yesteryear. And gone are those ace candy cigarettes. So good bye candy cigarettes, those wonderful treats that would let you pretend you were a five year old having a smoke and tasted vaguely of something pretending to be sugar.
just saw these, kitten...

RIP Syd Barrett, as of 7/7/06. even though this was probably mentioned in another thread, it's worth mentioning here because it is the RIP thread. His death is still kinda fresh to me. I remember when I first heard about it. I was a little shocked, but I didn't know him well enough like I know Mick Jagger or something. But Syd is in a better place now, and it's good.
