Ooh ooh! Is it an old session or a new one? Well spotted. To say I'm excited would be an understatement.

How can we get a hold of this if we live in the US or Tuvalu?

you can stream it live online and it should be archived on the website afterwards.
it has to be a new session, right? the last one he did for radio 6 was in the fall of 2003. |

Well, umm...yeah, he shouldn't do that to his adoring public, but he did completely fuck us over with the reunion...

If he's on Jools Holland like what's been mentioned, he's obviously in the country as Laters... is filmed a few days in advance that I know of. Got my fingers crossed it's a new session.
Oh yeah, thanks for the info Dayanara, i would have missed this otherwise |

Yep. Frank Black with the Catholics is something amazing. I hope they will soon tour together! Cross my fingers. |

hey, i want a catholics tour as much as anyone else does. i just think it's incredibly insulting to frank (and very trendy these days) to look down your nose at the pixies because they're much more popular. people seem to forget that frank wrote that music, too. |

For me it has nothing whatsoever to do with the popularity of the Pixies. They could be as popular as Kiss for all I care. It has to do with the artistic integrity of Frank, and also with the fact that I (and please don't kill me for saying this) just don't think the Pixies were all that great, with the exception of their last two albums, which were amazing, but, wait a minute...oh yeah, they're not playing anything from those albums. But that's still not the point. As I said, it's the integrity of Frank as an artist.

I used to agree with Adrian completely on this issue. But then I realized that I really want an Archers of Loaf reunion tour. A new album would deprecate their integrity, and I suppose a tour would, too, but I would be too happy to even care. |

Before the Pixies reunion, I saw Frank as this sort of underground, rock genius, forever touring the bar circuit. Why? Because he likes it! He tours and tours, one bar after another...I found the pixies getting back together and the image became a bit ruined. Now, however, I see all of these things he's getting ready to release. It's awesome. I'll bet Frank just did the reunion for the money so he could continue his reign as the God of Underground Rock and Roll. Now he's got enough moolah to make music for as long as he wants. Today, I bought I bottle of red wine at this brewery in Clarksville, TN. It's called Tempo, and I'm saving it until July 19th. YES!

The ad on the radio features 'Hang on to your ego' and 'Headache' so it sounds (hopefully) like more of a Frank Black than Pixies shebang. |

Is it finished already? What are the b-sides for the IBT ep? Still no mention of it on the Cooking Vinyl website. Come on, I wanna know!

According to Cooking Vinyl, this single is going to be a promo single only, and not for commercial release.
