The Show, the company behind PixiesDiscs.com/the last 12 shows of 2004, has now launched PixiesDiscs.com for the 2005 US Tour. So you can now purchase limited edition CD’s from each of the Pixies stops along the tour (with one exception). Just go to:

for all the details.
We’ve also got a few special things going on:
First, anyone who buys a disc ONLINE and BEFORE THE CONCERT (not at the concert, and not after the concert) will receive a FREE copy of the Pixies – Live from Cleveland, OH. This will be a one-disc recording of their show at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Second, anyone who buys a disc ONLINE has the opportunity to purchase an exclusive t-shirt along with the CD. It’s a unique design that won’t be available at the shows.
Third, we’re also offering a special edition of 250 units which will be a “box set” of sorts of what we think are the Best 5 shows. Between discussion in the forums and talks with the crew and the band, we’ll figure out which of the 5 shows are the best and send them to you (and discount the shipping significantly).

| thanks for the info. i have enjoyed all of the the live discs i have picked up so far and am totally psyched to get one of the early shows. does anyone know anything about the venues where they will be playing an early show? for instance, does one of them have great sound and the other ones not as good? i doubt that it matters much, since the recording is mostly through the soundboard (i think). anyways, if anyone has any hunches as to which early show will be the best (i am sure they will all be great) i would love to hear it. |

Thanks Pixiesdiscs for recording the shows again! I checked out the site and the t shirt you can order with it looks mighty fine!!!
I am definately eyeing the 5 discs plus the T Shrit and with the free Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recording. Very tempting! |

Can someone help:
1) I'm in uk. will pixies discs handle international orders?
2) I'll be flying to LA for the 2nd June early concert. The web site says that they froduce the discs in a few weeks after the concert (because of multitrack mixing etc?). Can people confirm you won't be able to buy the disc straight after the show like with disclive
3) How long will mail delivery take? Have folk who bough 2004 pixiesdiscs been happy with the service (i don't mean the recording but delivery etc.)?

The 5 CD set will NOT have different packaging, but we may included a special sleeve to hold all 5.

Quality over speed is the idea here. We will be working both on the road, and in our Boston studio, to mix and master shows throughout the tour. We expect to ship the first shows (5/26 to 5/28) on or around 7/13, the next set of shows (5/29 to 6/5) on or around 7/24, and the final set of shows (6/7 to 6/15) on or around 8/11. We’ve tried to be as realistic as possible, and it is possible that we could ship before the dates above.
Shipping should take 2-3 days domestically, 5-14 days internationally.
As for how people feel about service/delivery, I'll let them answer. You can also see reviews on the last 12 shows on CDBaby.com. |
