i sleep with 3 blankets, and one of them is a comforter. some might call that excessive or "too warm"
what can i say, i can't sleep unless i feel like i'm in a cocoon and it's 107 degrees. maybe there are mummies in my family history..
how many do you use? |

I sleep with not but a comforter. On Friday nights I have a sheet as well, but by Saturday morning it has been thoroughly kicked to the foot of the bed. Then my bed isn't made for a week, so I just sleep with the comforter.
Some brains just work that way, that's what chemicals can do. |

Floop I think we may be related. I need a small mountain of blankets to sleep under. Currently doing duvet & 2 blanket combo. Hotels I always need to ask for extra blankets and get whoever I am with to ask for extra blankets too.

What's a comforter? I sleep with a duvet. And a wife.

1 in summer, 2 in winter. i like my room rather cold, i don't breathe well when it's too hot.
i thought the duvet is the cover that goes over the comforter.

i like how hotel blankets are on so tight, i like to try and crawl in from the pillow end without untucking the sheets. |

I need to untuck hotel blankets and sheets as soon I get into bed, however on trains I need the sheets to stay super tight cocoonesque

Two comforters in winter, decreasing to a sheet in summer. I suggest we Americans conspire to not tell the Europeans what a comforter is. |

LBF thank you - I was just going to point out to Homer that clearly he has never experienced the sublime pleasure of a cashmere blanket.

I sleep with just my comforter. No top sheet even. I have a flannel cover for colder weather and a cotton one for when it is warmer. I love to be all wrapped up and I often sleep with it over my head. Cozy!

One duvet is good for enough me here in the great white north. What on earth does anyone in California need three for?! You're going to be a terrible old man. :)

You have to realize we have inadequate insulation and heaters in our homes. In the winter when it's 35F degrees outside, it's 45 in the house.
When I wake up on a typical winter morning-- no exaggeration-- I can see my breath while I'm standing in the bathroom taking a whizz. |

OK, I think everyone has answered now. Can we please move to the "What kind of sexy outfit do you sleep with" thread?

Denis, I did not answer. Until now: comforter and flannel sheet both winter and summer, during the latter with the AC cranked way up high. Like, shiner, I like my room rather cold and don't sleep well when it's hot.
Now someone should start the "What kind of sexy outfit do you sleep with?" thread.
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Catholics |

If by "blanket" you mean women and by "with" you mean do..... then I would have to say many!

wait
if by "blanket" he meant women and by "with" he meant do, then he's asking
"how many women do you sleep do?"
prehaps by "with" he really did mean with.
Oh let it linger |

If by "blanket" you mean "lumps of sugar," and by "sleep with" you mean "take in your coffee," my answer is, "None."
I am one of those persons who prefers his coffee with neither milk nor sugar. Thanks for asking. |

in keeping with stupidizing the thread I would have to say that I sleep with as many blankets as will have me.
perhaps this is why things have been so cold around here lately.
