I don't drink at all anymore. Haven't in a long, long time. My father has outlived his entire family. All his brothers and sisters died in more as a result of drinking way before their time. And I have several relatives on my moms side that had trouble with drinking. Genetics are just not on my side, and I thought it would be best to quit while I was ahead.

My job as a storeman at a liquor wholesaler is a bad influence...finished my 10 hour shift beginning at 5am today and im hitting the wine to keep me awake.
Love the pic Mun Chien Andalusia.
How popular is P.... Navarro Beer over there in Italy (not sure on the spelling) blue case with the name inscribed quite largely on it. Its the only imported Italian beer we distribute from our warehouse. And does it taste any good??

With all that drinking, you'd be hard pressed to 'hang on to your taco'-well, if you'd eaten one earlier ;)

never heard of it brackish. the most popular national beers here are moretti(the ones in the pic), peroni and nastro azzurro (the valentino rossi one). all three taste quite good tho' there is nothing really particular about them all being more or less similar to heineken or amstel.

havent been properly drunk for ages as the groups i hang around with at the mo arent too keen, but going out tonight woo, all my alcohol tolerance is probably gone so i'll probably be unconcious by 8.30 after accidentally smelling a pint

I wish i had a wooden heart that i could set on fire...

Usually get locked on a Friday, and have a few beers a couple of times a week.
I discovered last year in a season of weddings that my hangovers are decreasing as I get older (apparently this happens because our brains are shrinking). Which is a dangerous thing, as bad hangovers were one of the main reasons I kept an eye on how much I drank. For about a month I got hammered 3 or 4 times a week and had a 'couple' the rest of the week. Was scary how I felt when I went a couple of days without alcohol. Shakes and sweats and shit.

you know what apl, as sick and as wrong and as potentially creatively suicidal as it might seem, the only time I have had any kind of anything worth holding onto spill out of my vacant cranium over the past couple years has been when either under the influence of toxins or recouperating from the toxification...or thinking about one or the other...or women.

Brain baby kicks.

Although there is much better (that high-end Pappy stuff that you guys drank in the 'ville), people outside of Kentucky know not 7-year old Jim Beam. It is so superior to the 4-year.

After working really hard for a couple of weeks, having a nice dinner with good friends and excellent wine : that is how drinking should be!
I usually end half naked in those dinners though. So we have to change the restaurant each time.

not often, but if "feeling the effects" is considered drunk, then once or twice a week maybe.

I drink every night, full stop, it varies between 1 and 3 bottles of wine or a few glasses of vodka. I am just a social drinker but I am social every night.
