I was momentarily chuffed when Doolittle came in at number 48.... brief Frank interview, joking about being owed a lot of money by the people who followed the Pixies, and how singing in the church choir influenced his singing style.... Tim Wheeler of Ash and Lauren Laverne did the "weren't they great?" thing.
My mood was then totally snuffed out when the rock monster that is Dire Straits' "Brothers In Arms" came in at number 47. What a strange world we live in..... |

It's Lauren Laverne, I can forgive her anything.
I'm like a lost snail in the night. |

he so smart too:
"You think 'oh my gosh, I was right. The world really is full of stupid motherfuckers'. Am I just getting old, is that was it is, and I'm just not relating to some of these younger kids? No, they're getting dumber. It is happening." |

The part where somebody who wasn't in the band goes on about how wonderful and influential they were. |

Give the public a vote and they will always fuck it up.
Should have been numbers 1 to 5.

As long as Dire Straits "Making Movies" is Top 20, I am OK with the slight to "Brothers in Arms"

Yeah it's not a bad choice. Obviously I would have had Surfer Rosa or Doolittle, but OK Computer is a truly great album.
