Batwing bass. No shit!
PORRRRRRRRN!! Ball in machine.

I've never owned a Rickenbacker, or played one come to think of it.
Everytime I see one the price tag is the first thing that hits me.

Nice. Very, very nice, Mr Sabre. That's quite a collection you have there.

Thanks.... The Rick is my wife's ax. The guy she got it from regrets selling it to her, but his collection is big enough anyway...
The bass is really great, it's like a 3/4 or 7/8 scale with a thin neck, so it's super easy to play.

I love G&L guitars. My electric is a Strat-type body with a G&L ASAT maple neck. That neck has the nicest frets I've ever seen.

I've seen photos online of early G&L necks which were inspected and initialed by Leo himself.

I've yet to see a nocaster, dan. I've been trying out some different Fenders to my norm. Cyclones, Tornados, Broncos, blah blah. I still think the tele is the way to go, but i'm biased beyond belief.

Have a look at this:

Shall we say, different.

thing about that is theres to much attitude setting some mood before you even strum it.

this one's a decade older than the Broadcaster.

Les Paul's 'Log'. I've yet to find a pic of someone playing it. It's huge!

and then there's this..

Bigsby-Travis' 1947 creation. Inspiration behind the Broadcaster?

i'll chop off the wings and send them to you.

Fingers crossed santa gets me a new capo.

fbc, I had a friend who had that same green Ibanez pedal. What's your opinion of it? Because the one I remember was excrement! You'd turn it on and there'd be no difference is sound. Tube Screamer I think it was. Experience has taught me that if your effect pedals ain't BOSS then they suck. DOD's are absolute crap anyway.

Tube screamer thingy, that's the one. It's okay. It gives a little bit of overdrive to a clean sound, but I don't use it that much. My main pedal when I was younger was the Roland DS-1. Classic! And I can't go anywhere (except work) without the DF-2. The feedback option is so much fun, especially when mashed with other effects. Sometimes pointless, but definately fun.

So, in conclusion, experience has taught you well, Heywood.

Looks like my Ibanez AD-80 delay turned out to be a good investment as well, they go for arond $250-300 on ebay. I also have a Foxx Tone Machine and those are selling in the $200 range... Who'd have thunk it??

Thats the AD30VT. It's a modelling amp. 30 watts but it absolutely howls and its got really good tone for a non tube (it's got a pre-amp tube in the power amp stage that they use to achieve a decent "tube sound"). The model of the classic Vox AC30 sounds pretty awesome...

It's got to sound a lot better than mine. The Pathfinder is a little bit weak sounding. I mean, it's not too bad, but it doesn't have a lot of punch!

Sounds like you need more experience, then. Boss make generic, dull sounding effects, especially their distortion effects. YEUCK.

They'll always have a special place in my heart. The first pedal I bought was the ds-1 when I knew no better. I still don't.
Check this cheap thing i've been making noise with:

so many effects to tweak and improve, but not the best pedal in the world. But it's fun!

Here's most of my stuff. I've since then got a banjo. I need a better guitar amp and eventually a different electric, but for time, it suits me fine. Notice the lap steel.

p.s. and I don't actually use that peavey.

My guitar cost thirty bucks from a friend from Connecticut. I beat the living shit out of mine so there is no point spending any more than that. They always sound sweet until they croak though, I think I´m blessed in that respect.

No, I think he stated he used an orange BOSS distortion pedal so that's more likely either the DS-1 or the DS-2.

here's what I have. Unfortunately my Digital camera was stolen so you'll have to make do with a picture from the company's homepage:

my pedal-rig is (no pic of that either as of now): BOSS DS-2 (my 1st one, gonna replace it once I get more cash) --> Dunlop Wah-wah(don't really use it much)-->Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail(surf music!)

I wish I had a camera! =(
But I've got a Yamaha 6 string acoustic(it's what I learned on)
I have an electric Typhoon, which is just a Les Paul rip off, it's black with a creamy white pick guard.
I have a 4 sting Jay Turser Vintage Series bass, pretty much a Fender Precision rip off. And a Traynor 30 watt guitar amp.
I think I may go buy a used electric guitar next then a bass amp

Sorry about the sheer crudeness of the photo: Peavey Rockingham w/Bigsby, Mexican Fender Telecaster and some random Epiphone acoustic (that's what I leaned on, it's my dad's but he hardly plays it anymore) I play my Tele the most and that was the first guitar I bought, I got it two years ago in July, I've only been playing about two years past Febuary.

(That's better)
