I have a knack for winning radio call-in contests. Just today, I was caller number 9 and won tickets to a concert, which I just got back from. That's three times in the last several years that I've won concert tickets. And when I was a kid, I won four times in one day -- which was really hard because my father had cut me off because I'd won too many times, so I had to be ultra-sneaky about it. And that was back in the days of fucking rotary dialing. Among my winnings:
* Tix to David Wilcox (tonight), Tori Amos with Bruce Cockburn, and Elvis Costello (best concert of my life)
* Two Max Headroom T-shirts
* Four A&W root beer mugs
* Dinner for four at some Mexican restaurant
