Thanks for the posts,
I find the following quotes very annoying, misleading, if not inaccurate. "...will release his first official solo album in nine years this summer....", "...Honeycomb," Frank Black's first solo effort since 1996's "The Cult Of Ray,"...
Why don't they say "...his 10th post-Pixies album in the past 12 years...", or, "...this is #10 since 1993..."
Otherwise, it's misleading. |

I noticed this in another thread, and I wanted to point out, give props to ALEX MAR for evidently reporting in Rolling Stone Mar 30, 2005 an accurate statement. Three Cheers for ALEX, yea ALEX!
