Tzatziki's nice, if you ever do the souvlaki with lamb instead of beef or pork then you'll see just how nice.
Oh, and make sure you leave a little fat on it when you cook it, not too much, but give it something to flavour the meat itself.

Hmmm, I'm not a big fan of lamb. Plus last time I made it, Diego freaked out Annabelle with a little ditty about Mommy ate a little lamb...
Pork is great for absorbing flavours, I'll go that way next time I think.

I've been on a coco-krispies kick this week, but tonight I had a slice of chocolate cake from Boston Market that my son didn't eat. Their chocolate cake is insanely delicious.

Last night, half of a frozen sausage and pepperoni pizza. This morning, a Wawa hot dog, because I was too lazy to prepare anything. I would have preferred a Sizzli (egg, cheese, and meat sandwich), but they don't offer them after 10:30 or so.
I plan to have Chick-fil-A for dinner tonight.

Just had a black forest ham and swiss fritatta on a six cheese bagel. Delicious. Last night I had coco krispies for dessert.

We're going to go eat dim sum in about an hour, then drink afternoon margaritas before the super bowl, then my friend's wife is cooking a roast to eat at half time of the game.

I believe saffron is overrated.
Does anyone know why flour wouldn't work in place of cornstarch? What's the diff?

I couldn't give you the full proper difference - just that cornstarch squeaks when you rub it. You can replace cornstarch with arrowroot, but definitely not flour.
I ate far too much dim sum last night. Tonight I'm back to leftovers, but damn fine ones at that - roast vegetable lasagne. Floop I'm pretending to ignore your barbeque post. I've got a good 3 months to wait till I can probably have one again and I've found a gem of a venison marinade recipe.
Lead me not into temptation; I can find the way myself. |

I'm just mad about saffron. They call me Mellow Yellow.
But seriously, I just had some lasagna. It wasn't really dinner, but who cares?

what do you call one sandwich guys? i mean, if you use two slices of bread to make a sandwich and then you cut it in half, is each half a sandwich or do they only count as half? hmm, interesting.
i had 3 or 1.5 sandwiches... can't remember what was in them. and two packets of pickled onion crisps.
