You've got a long wait, but yes I am - try some Lingham's in the meantime though.

Is that available here? I'll keep an eye out. I'm always looking for yet another chilli sauce to have on the go.

Lingham's is a Malaysian ginger chilli garlic sauce (Sainsbury's stocks it) - no weird shit in it and works a dream on Floop's Breakfast Tacos

All I had last night was a TV dinner. Today, though, I had the Pizza Hut lunch buffet! Compare your lives with mine, and then kill yourselves!

Peri-peri is (I think) a Mozambiquan hot sauce, rooted in Portuguese tradition. It's very popular in South Africa and the surrounding area as well, and in this country because of the Nando's chain (I don't know if you have those - they're awesome).
Although it can get very hot, generally it's not 'burn the roof of your mouth off' hot, and it's particularly tasty. It's a particular kind of African chilli pepper used, I forget which.

Also - are you a fan of Jamaican food? I imagine a man such as yourself can appreciate a good jerk seasoning...

not really, but I almost don't eat meat or fish. I only do it when I don't have much choice or when I have a strong desire!

I had some chips earlier (not crisps, chips), then some chow mein on the way home. All bad I know, but I couldn't care less.

Some veg and three kinds of meat with the noodles.

no, definitely pints!
some places have middies (what the fuck?) and schooners (what the fuck? x2) but i don't frequent those types of establishments.

you'll even find some bizarre english beers on tap at some places.
such as tenants (yuck - tho it's actually scottish ain't it?) and abbots ale (ok).

but in some places a pint is only 425ml and others it's 500ml...yes, very weird.

i think mayonnaise on chips was the best thing about the UK - but of course, they had to be Weatherspoons chips!

oooo, from the meet up?
if so, i remember those!
man, they were very nice.

but i still don't think you can beat 1.60 pound (sorry, no pound key on aussie comps) chips and 2.50 pints of hoegaarden from the Great Harry in Woolwich.
