Yea, I know that some people out there, who have been members for a while frequent it much less than they used to, mildly disappointed with what seem to be repetitive and uninteresting topics....but I for one think that this is still a very great forum....

...and I dont mind reading some of the same things over again from time to time, I love Frank Black. Love to read about him.

When you consider that we have a lot of things that we hate repeated to us on a daily basis....this is not bad at all.

I've been here for over two years now, and I think that newcomers can talk about things we've seen before without having to do archival searches that sometimes dont work at all...and I've read things in these repeated topics that I didnt read the first time around.

So stop bitching...

I love the forum, and I don't generally participate in these love or hatred threads, but I'm willing to make an exception when someone like FBF professes for us his undying love of the boards. Me too, 100%.

FBF rocks!!!!!

That's what I'm talking about, people: a feeling of freedom, freedom
to post, freedom to have fun, freedom to gather and rejoice in the
name of The Man.

Remember: if you don't like a thread, start one that you think rocks.

Exatly, this forum rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Based on this silly tangent I am on due to the quantum physics for dummies movie, What the Bleep do we know?... this forum rocking has everything to do with our experience and perceptions.

Also, this forum can be made even better by collective meditation... oooooom.

It's also a given that this forum rocks in many ways we can't even percieve as of yet!!! How cool is that??

This forum rules!!

As a relatively new member, I appreciate the hospitality and expressions of welcome that I've received here at FB.net.

And, yeah, I'm sure I've posted some duplicate Topics, but, hey, I appreciate the rest of you overlooking that and not holding that against me or any other newbie.

It can be intimidating to submit posts, and starting new topics, forget about it, that's a whole new level of participation that some of us may be uncomfortable with. Our comfort zone is not totally dependent on encouragement from veterans, but it sure does help. I've got pretty thick skin and I'm not shy, but, starting a new topic is still a little intimidating. But like I said, I've received nothing but hospitality from all of the members here.

I look forward to a continuation of the "Good Times" here at FB.net!

I'm not sure if I would say this forum rocks. It does, however, roll, to a certain extent.

Speaking of a whole lot of love, anybody heard of
an all-woman Zep cover band called Lez Zeppelin?
I'm thinking of going to see them.

Sorry about going off topic, but that is a beloved
forum tradition. And this forum rocks!!!

Led Zeppelin were crap so I really wouldn't want to see their cover band.

But yeah, this forum rocks.

No, but I've heard of Bed Zeppelin, who do covers without ever getting out of bed.

Thanks, FBF. These threads make me feel like it's worth putting the time in. Glad you like it.

I have also been introduced to some great music through here. Though I've heard of some bands through threads and forumites, I strongly recommend people participating in the occasional mix exchanges that come up from time to time. I've discovered a couple albums as a result which are incredible.

Indeed, the mix CD swaps rock! Perhaps someone should start an apprecation thread for them too.

You're right Homer, the mix CD swaps are just great, that was the first reason why I started posting on the general chat. I've learned a lot from it, many people with very good taste.
