Hello, I'm newish to this forum and new to forums in general. I've made a couple of posts here before but never introduced myself which may have been bad forum etiquette or something, I don't know, but anyway Hello, I'm Frank (no relation.) I came across this Dutch music website which I thought some of you might be interested in (if you don't know it already.) It's got some live FB video and audio numbers, unfortunately I can't listen to any of them cos my PC at work has no soundcard etc. Hope the links useful to someone though: http://3voor12.vpro.nl/3voor12/groups/index.jsp?groups=63248 There's some cool piccys too but despite fiddling around I can't work out how to import an image, soz. |

YAY! I've got the office to myself today and finally found a pc which would let me watch and listen to this stuff. It's the first time I've heard a lot of the songs (Black Rider, Shrimp Song, John the Revelator) and indeed the first time I've seen a live Frank Black performance. It was thrilling - the man is hypnotic. Great acoustic versions of Nadine and Horrible Day too. This has made my Easter and will tide me over til Honeycombe's release. Pray God that he tours the UK with it. |

Rudeboy:
1) "Hypnotic" is the right adjective! The perfect description.
2) Let us all pray for a Catholics Honeycomb tour, in the UK, US and beyond!
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Catholics |
