Quick Help! I need a word and I'm brain dead!
I need to say that I took a cannabinoid and shoved it into DMSO to make a stock concentration, dissolved in feels wrong, I don't think solubilised is acually a word so how can I put it? not suspended in because it's soluble. Past tense only!
Help!

You know it's funny but I think the nonsense fairies might have come and had a fiddle with mine as well. I was pretty sure I started this months in advance so why is it, two days before it's due, I still have so much to do and am in a state of what I like to call... blind bloody panic? |

how the fuck do I pad out my results when there is not a one significant result in the lot of it. I can't just write bugger all happened can I? I keep saying there was no significant blah de blah de blah because a one way ANOVA has shown shit all variance between my samples because the stupid cells are unfuckingstimulatable. 15,000 words is the guideline for this write up, I predict mine to be about 10,000 because the methods and results barely makes up 1,000 words between then.

ANOVA by hand I might add as I forgot there were no stats packages on frankenpc AND I spent half the morning fixing together these neat graphs that show sod all happened and only realised after I'd sorted the pissing things out that I'd left the standard deviation off them.
I should have done a baking degree.

You need a new statistical approach. Say no to null hypothesis testing and yes to likelihood and model comparison approaches. I could go on with a speech about how null hypothesis is all wrong, but it would just be posturing and wouldn't help you finish you paper. It really is fucked up though and many fields are starting to move away from it. I've written 2 papers about it, but others have written better ones. |
