It grosses me out too, and I ain't no girl. Chicken is especially bad, what with the fear of salmonella adding to the general grossness.
I would imagine it would be even worse for a vegetarian, mind you.
I've been sitting in front of the computer for too long. I should go out for a short walk and get a bite to eat.

I admit it! It's me! I'm the one who got floop sick. I touched the forum
without washing my hands after handling chicken.
Simon, I dunno if it's a girl thing, it may be more of a vegetarian thing?
I never ever ever cook meat but my friend just had a baby and I promised to bring her a meal.

My Saturday morning present from the cats has been upgraded from dead mice to dead birds. There isn't a room downstairs that hasn't a feather explosion in it.

thanks for your concern.. i was too sick to make it to the show Thursday. needless to say, that was depressing. especially reading what a good show it sounds like it was. normally i would say fuck it and just drink my way through the pain, but i was just tooooo sick. lying in bed sweating, 102 fever and feeling like death. we decided it would be pointless since i wouldn't have a good time. plus, i had a new job starting yesterday. and i didn't want to risk fucking that up too (i guess i'm becoming an old man).. anyway it was fucking bummer, but the happy ending is that i ended up going to last night's show . |

Can't wait untill August, I'll be able to see on the same day, the Pixies, Arcade Fire and QOTSA. And just saw that on the day after, with Nick Cave I'll have the Killing Joke. I don't know if I'll survive to it, but I'm a happy women now!
