What brand of root beer is Frank's favourite?

Has he tried Virgil's?

why is the library so busy why is it always so busy and why is it always full of morons?
why do I have to resort to a sitty little pc room where they haven't thought to turn off the fucking heating even though it's warm it's got a handful of loud blokes so I've had to plug in the headphones and belt up the cd player.

could this be my first grumpy day for a while?

Don't do it!

I'll bear your grumpiness, its miserable down here.

Especially when the Danish pastries are literally crying out your name...

Tommyknockers - Bottled in Denver, Colorado. This rootbeer contains a long list of unusual ingredients in an "Herbal Brew": mountain cherry, mountain maple, valerian root, fenugreek, St. John's wort, melissa, birch, licorice root, hops extract, malt extract, maple syrup and other natural flavors, according to the bottle. Tommyknockers has an strong and pleasurable scent, but too much gooey maple syrup flavor for most of our reviewers, giving it a low score in the results of Round One. Tommyknockers website. - Score: 2.43

Virgil's - Another old-fashioned style root beer with all-natural ingredients: anise, licorice, bourbon vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, wintergreen, sweet birch, molasses, nutmeg, pimento berry oil, balsam oil and oil of cassia. Our reviewers enjoyed the complex flavors, but overall found it a bit weak in taste: "Vanilla aroma, refreshing fizz, but I'm not crazy about the fruity taste which gets stronger with each sip." "Molasses-y but not a lasting flavor. Aftertaste is medicinal." "Cola flavor. Not much root beer here." "In the end, it tastes more like RC than root beer." Virgil's website. - Score: 2.69

Jones - A conventional taste in an unconventional bottle. The Jones Soda marketing campaign is unusual, ambitiously artsy, and a bit contrived. Does their root beer match up to the self-conscious expectations? Our reviewers found this root beer to be quite ordinary. It has a pleasant vanilla, nutty flavor, but not much punch or many distinctive herbs. Jones is pleasant in a middle-of-the-road way: not too bad, but not great. Still, in the contentious Round Two, that even temper was enough to bring it out on top in the Total Scores. This root beer makes claims to be bottled in Seattle, but Jones is actually a Canadian product with a definite Vancouver so-called-attitude. Jones website. - Score: 3.81

ok, so in this so-called challenge virgil's beat tommyknockers, but check the score of jones soda. now, i like jones but seriously tommyknockers is awesome, it must be the maple syrup. the critics as usual mess everything up. hires, a&w, and dad's all finished ahead of both of these. now, admittedly i have never tried virgil's but tommyknockers is a taste explosion, just amazing.

Okay - I have to admit I haven't tasted tommyknockers but virgils is fabulous.

Fuck - now I'll be spending all day trying to find someone who ships rootbeer to the uk so that I can perform my own taste test.

I hate it when threads are so funny I can't read them at work cause I burst out laughing every 30 seconds. Sometimes reading the General Chat section takes me the whole day cause I have to run out of the office between each message, laughing my ass off. Please stop being funny! I'll get fired if you don't!

My lunch date stood me up my mobile phone died and I ripped the back of my skirt on a nail and I didn't have enough money to catch the bus home so I had to walk all the way home with a ripped skirt, hungry, thirsty and really pissed off because the only reason I went into that horrible library at all today was because I was supposed to meet this person, normally I'd work from home and now I just got a call saying they'd been messaging me all morning to tell me to meet them now.

:(

I hate root beer and I have no tattoos, nor have I ever
dated anyone with a single tattoo. I don't believe my
secret forum crush has a tattoo.

Surfer, does this mean we've broken up?
